Sony will not have a keynote address this year at Gamescom 2015 but Microsoft will be there, and with a lot to talk about including the three exclusives arriving soon. The Xbox team will be on stage the evening before gamescom officially kicks off to finally share the latest on Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown. The Xbox exclusives at Gamescom 2015 briefing will be Tuesday, August 4 10:00 a.m. EDT if you are looking to tune-in.

Scalebound is the next great adventure from critically-acclaimed developer Platinum Games (Bayonetta 2) and Game Director Hideki Kamiya. After skipping E3 we are excited to hear more about the epic adventure game that has largely been unknown. “Scalebound transports you to a distant, hostile world including a formidable dragon—and the bond you forge with this awesome predator will prove crucial to the survival of both worlds.”  Release date is guest-timated Spring 2016.

Crackdown is back for a third installment (but will not be called Crackdown 3) in stunning over-the-top fashion for Xbox One. Developed by original creator Dave Jones, Crackdown on Xbox One will deliver unrivaled verticality, cooperative mayhem, and destruction. Whether you’re playing the Campaign with friends or enjoying an entirely new competitive Crackdown experience powered by Xbox Live, you’ll never look at an open-world game the same way again.  Crackdown will be release on December 31, 2015 (according to Amazon).

Quantum Break attempts to “blurs the line between television and gaming.” Quantum Break, Remedy Games (creators of Max Payne) is a third person shooter game in which you bend and shape time in order to survive. Remedy Entertainment went so far to consult scientists who had worked at CERN to better understand how to write the plot in such a way that complied to current theoretical physics. Mastering your unique powers of bending and warping time helps you outmaneuver foes in a bullet time like experience. How you play the game shapes a personalized version of the television show. Watching the show gives you strategies and insights that will impact the way you play the game and helps you discover unique content within the game. Due 2016.
